Virtual Test Session - Important Information
All tests will be by submission only.
Please click on the link to read the following guidelines from USFS: Virtual Test Guidelines
The videos must be continuous and unedited with the skater unobstructed and must adhere to the USFS guidelines. Any video not adhereing to the requirements may be rejected by the judges. After signing up you will be contacted by the test chair so that you can upload your video. You will also need to upload the following forms: Skaters Likeness  and  Affidavit
If you are not a home club member, you will need to upload a permission form from your home club. Once you sign up you will have until the stated deadline to submit the video and all required forms. The judges' results will be emailed to you.
Please note that the test fees are not refundable so please be conscientious and follow the guidelines.
You must register for all Test Sessions Online
Registration opens 3 weeks prior to the date of the test session and closes when the session is full. If the link to sign up is not available then the session is full. 
When signing up for tests please be careful to sign up for the correct test. If you are not sure please verify which test you are supposed to sign up for with your coach. (note solo dance test means that you are not testing with a partner. If you are testing with a partner it is a partnered dance test.)

“Effective July 1, 2017, any person 18 years of age or older must submit to and pass an annual background screen in order to partner minors in pair, free dance and/or pattern dance tests. The background screen must be taken through the U.S. Figure Skating Members Only site. Anyone who submits to and passes the annual background screen as part of coach compliance meets this requirement."       

The background screens will be done through the Members Only site, just as they are now for coaches. To submit information for the background screen, partners need to go to https://www.usfsaonline.org, log in and select the “Coach/Partner Compliance” menu. 

Required on Test Applications: 

·      Name and requested information for Pair or Dance Test Partner

·      Name and requested information for Coach who will be there with

       you on your test day (all tests)


NOTE: Should the needed partner and coach information not be provided, the test application will be considered incomplete and could result in your application not being accepted. Additionally, if a different coach is present on the day of the test, they will be required to show proof they have completed the necessary certifications and background check before being allowed to coach you at the session.  This includes last minute replacements.  No exceptions.
Registration for test sessions will be available approximately three weeks prior to the date of the test session.

Please be aware that the test sessions are limited in time and registration will be closed once the allotted time has been filled. Once the session is closed the system will no longer allow you to sign up or pay for a test.

UDFSC members will receive an email when a new test session becomes available. Check to be sure that your email on file is correct and that your provider is not blocking emails from UDFSC if you wish to receive this notification.

Test Application Procedures

 

♦Test applications are processed through entryeeze. You can access the application by clicking on the link at the top of this page.                

♦Follow instructions on Entryeeze to sign up for the test.

 Fees in addition to regular test fees

♦Non Members of UDFSC must pay an additional $30.00 non member fee per test session.

--There is a non-refundable convenience fee charged for processing all transactions.




TEST FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE*

 

Test applicants should heed the following before submitting an application

1)     Test fees are non refundable so be sure that you and/or your coach are available to take the test at any time on the scheduled day. There is no guarantee that scheduling requests can be accommodated.

2)     Testers and coaches should be prepared to test up to one hour before their scheduled time. If the test session runs early and you are not present one hour before your scheduled time, you risk forfeiting your test.

3)     When submitting an application for a contingent test, be aware that your test fee is forfeited if you are unable to take the contingent test.

4)     Please be aware that the test session registration may close before the published deadline if the test session fills up.

5)     Scheduling the tests involves many variables; individual needs cannot always be accommodated. Think carefully before submitting an application for testing on a day that you have other commitments.

6)     If UDFSC is not your home club, a letter of permission from your home club must be received prior to the test date or you will not be allowed to test.

7)     Please have a valid email address and a valid coach's email address when you submit your application and be sure to check the schedule on www.udfsc.com for schedule updates.

*Test Fees will only be refunded if the following 3 criteria are met:

1) The Skater is unable to test due to injury or severe illness.

2) UDFSC must receive written/emailed notification that the skater is injured and is withdrawing from the test no later than the day before the test session

3) A doctor's note must be provided before the refund will be processed. 

The convenience fee charged for processing the transaction is non-refundable in all situations, even if the test fees meet the criteria to be refunded.


 

USFSA Membership

♦All applicants must, at the time of the test, be a member in good standing of the USFSA. Your USFSA number must appear on the test application on the reverse side of this sheet. Put applied for in the space requesting your USFSA number if you are a new member and have not yet received your USFSA card.

♦Anyone taking a test without a current USFSA membership becomes a defacto UDFSC member, and all USFSA/UDFSC membership dues must be paid immediately.

 

 

Permission Letters

♦If you are taking USFSA tests at other clubs, you must get a letter of permission from the UDFSC to verify that you are a member in good standing of the UDFSC or use a copy of the good standing letter provided to all UDFSC members.

 PLEASE do not park on the side. You will be ticketed as that is a Gold Lot and only UD employees can park there during the day.
***GOLD TESTS***
When you pass a Gold Test, please submit a picture, so we can add you to the photos on the bulletin board!
Additionally, we will contribute a portion of the cost of your USFSA Gold Medal. Once you've passed the test, please email us at test@udfsc.com and we will make arrangements to reimburse a portion of the cost of the medal to you.This applies to UDFSC home club skaters who have passed the gold level test in the period of January 2015 to the present.
